Vision Statement
Black Hair spot provides our members with the best black hair content and product information. We create videos and write articles that show Black Hair Spot Members how to style their hair. We create a safe space for black hair conversation. We are the #1 online resource for Black hair care information.
Mission
At Black Hair Spot, we know and love our hair. We are an online community of black women who share a passion for hair education. We teach each other how to care for our hair. We challenge each other to step out of the thick tresses of our comfort zones and try new things. We support each other in the name of healthy hair.
Black Hair Spot is your toolkit for healthy, beautiful hair. We have everything you need to ensure you look good, always.
Our Hair Journal helps you write the story of your hair journey. Your pictures are bound together exactly the way you want them. Like a picture book, your hair journal is filled with memories of your fresh weaves–edges laid smoothly, and your first failed attempt at a twist-out. Your Hair Journal is ready and waiting for you to click through and reminisce with a smile, or a cringe.
Hair Talk at Black Hair Spot only brings truth. Hair Talk articles are written by real people loving and dealing with black hair. The uncensored stories found on these pages will have you wondering who has been listening in on your hair discussions. That’s because your hair talk is our hair talk.
You know you can’t trust just anyone in your hair. A “trim” does not mean cutting off your new 3 inches of growth. So before you head out to that salon you found in your latest Google search, scroll through our Salon Directory. Read reviews from others about your chosen salon before you step out of that chair unsatisfied and $300 poorer.
